Who said “cracked heels“ is a joke? The skin on the feet is a big deal for women, no less than the skin on the face. Some people have “cracked heels” that hurt when walking or even bleed.
Treating “cracked heels” not only helps with the “beauty” of your feet, but also reduces the anxiety and annoyance of women. Now…before you let your heels get even more ruined.
ยูฟ่าเบท Lifestyle invites you to learn how to treat “cracked heels” to restore soft, smooth, touchable heels.
1. Warm water + pumice stone
This method starts with you mixing warm water in a small basin and soaking your feet in the warm water for about 15 minutes. When the time is up, use a pumice stone to gently scrub the cracked areas to help remove dead skin cells, making the skin on your heels softer and smoother.
When finished, wash your feet clean, dry them, and apply a nourishing cream to the “cracked heels” area . Do this 2-3 times a week continuously for about 1 month and you will see better results.
2. Soapy water + lemon juice + Vaseline
This method is similar to the first method, but add liquid soap to the warm water you have prepared. Beat it until it foams, then soak your feet in the soapy water for about 15 minutes. When the time is up, wash your feet clean. Then use 1 teaspoon of Vaseline mixed with the juice of 1 lemon. Rub it on the cracked heels, rubbing in circles until the mixture is absorbed into the skin. Do this 2-3 times a week as well.
3. Lemon + olive oil + salt
This recipe is a foot scrub recipe for cleaning “cracked heels” and helping the heels to become smooth and soft again. Prepare the ingredients: 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (or use mashed strawberries), add olive oil and a little salt, mix well, set aside.
Clean your feet thoroughly. Gently scrub and massage the prepared mixture on your heels. Do this alternately on both cracked heels for about 15 minutes, then wipe it off with a clean cloth. Do this 2-3 times a week.
4. Warm water + baking soda + brown sugar
Another interesting recipe for treating cracked heels is to add 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a warm bath, maybe add 1-2 drops of your favorite essential oil, and soak your feet in it for 15 minutes.
Then mix 3 parts baking soda, 1 part water and 1 part brown sugar together and use it to scrub your feet for about 10-15 minutes. Then rinse off, dry your feet and apply a nourishing cream.
5. Olive oil/sesame oil
The next recipe is to massage oil onto “cracked heels” to help heal the cracked skin and make the heels smoother. The method is to prepare about 1 tablespoon of olive oil or sesame oil, set aside, then soak your feet in warm water for 15 minutes. Then use a cloth to wipe off the water until damp, then massage the oil onto the cracked heels until the oil is absorbed into the skin without washing it off. Do this about 2-3 times a week and you will see better results.
6. Tamarind + turmeric + kaffir lime + alcohol
The next heel scrub recipe is a herbal recipe. Prepare tamarind, turmeric, kaffir lime and rubbing alcohol in a ratio of 1:1:1:1. Put all ingredients in a small bowl, mix well and set aside.
Before using the scrub, you must wash your feet clean. Soak your feet in warm water for 15 minutes. Then use the herbs that we mixed to scrub the skin on the “cracked heels”. Scrub in circles for 2-3 minutes on each side and rinse. You should do it regularly 2-3 times a week.
7. Banana peel
Finally, “banana peels” help treat “cracked heels”. It’s not difficult at all. Just take banana peels and rub them on the dry heels. Rub back and forth and leave for about 15 minutes, then rinse with clean water. Dry your feet, then apply heel cream and put on socks for a while to prevent your heels from losing moisture. You should do this at least 2-3 times a week. Do it continuously for about 1 month to see better results.
